Our Heritage

The Kent Story

With a playing-card history dating to 1964, Kent became a familiar name at American card tables. During the 1960s and 1970s, the earlier Stancraft Products operation offered Kent playing cards in the Brown & Bigelow era, including handsome two-deck bridge sets.

These vintage decks combined traditional card play with attractive backs and thoughtful presentation. They were designed for the kinds of evenings when friends gathered around a table and a well-made pair of decks was always close at hand.

We're carrying that spirit forward with new Kent playing cards, bringing together traditional designs and illustrated special editions. Roaring ’20s opens a new chapter for a name with decades of playing-card heritage.

The next Kent chapters

As the range grows, Kent will include everyday designs and additional illustrated and seasonal playing cards. Each release will be announced when it is ready to introduce.
