Our Heritage
The Midway Story
With playing-card roots dating to 1948, Midway was a name associated with ARRCO Playing Card Company of Chicago. ARRCO was known for colorful designs and dependable cards, and its Midway line included traditional bridge sets and paired decks for the card table.
Those vintage cards were part of an era when playing cards were a familiar part of family gatherings, friendly competition and thoughtful gifts. The name Midway is a fitting one for a collection built around the enjoyment of games.
Today we're giving Midway a fresh look with original illustrated characters and themes drawn from sports and celebrations. From Game Day: Football to Halloween on the Midway, each new edition brings a sense of fun to a deck made for playing.
